About Us

Charitable organisations are led by passionate and enthusiastic individuals and although they clearly benefit from donations, they often need more than money to help them grow and develop. What they often need is access to professional guidance, key business skills, advice and support to help them achieve their goals. iNspire was founded in 2007 by Darryl Cooke (Chairman) as a reaction to this need.

iNspire performs a co-ordination role bringing together charitable organisations and connecting them with each other and also with successful business leaders and entrepreneurs. In this way, charitable organisations provide peer support for each other and also benefit from the vast experience and extensive skills of business people who have been there, done it and are wise after the event; these individuals (“Leaders”) provide mentoring and support for the organisations.

iNspire also connects charitable organisations with its extensive network of pro-bono Supporters; professionals (individuals and companies ) who are highly skilled and provide help and support in areas such as legal, financial, IT, PR and marketing.

The strategic direction of iNspire is provided by the Board which is supported by an Executive Team and a group of volunteers who ensure that the objectives of iNspire are achieved.
