iNspire is led by a board of individuals with experience in a number of relevant areas: business, charities, professional services, and media. As a group of successful individuals they draw on their experience and contacts to guide iNspire’s growth and development.
As well as providing strategic direction, the Board selects the charities to be included in the programme, appoints the Hub Leaders and gains the commitment of companies that can support the charities’ specific needs. Each charity in the programme also has a direct association with at least one member of the Board.
The Board is headed up Darryl Cooke, a partner in the law firm Hill Dickinson, and the founder of iNspire, and currently includes: Lucy Meacock of ITN, Laura Wolfe (Director, Out There Events), Ann Jordan (Chairman of the Institute of Directors in the North West), Harold Sharples (MRC Limited and The World Leadership Group), Sylvia Sharples (Charity Events Organiser), Walli Ullah (media entrepreneur) and Vikas Shah (Director, Swiscot).
